ZTE Optik 7-inch Honeycomb tablet heading to Sprint in February for $99

A new budget-friendly Android tablet is heading to Sprint. Starting in February, the ZTE Optik will be available to Sprint customers. The Optik features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 7-inch capacitive touch display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, front and rear cameras at 2 and 5-megapixels, respectively; a 4000mAh battery, and more.

The tablet will be launching with Android 3.2 Honeycomb. Although there’s no info on an Ice Cream Sandwich update, we’re sure that it will eventually be receiving the update.

The tablet will be available for customers to purchase online via Sprint’s online store on February 5th and will be available at your local Sprint stores on March 11. It will sell for $99.99 with a new 2-year contract or for $349.99 off-contract.
