WiFi-only Motorola Xoom now officially available

If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the WiFi version of the Motorola Xoom, or if you weren’t lucky enough to get one a few days before launch at Staples, then you should be happy to know that today is the day. You can now purchase the WiFi-only Xoom from the following retailers: Best Buy, Amazon.com, Costco, RadioShack, Sams’s Club, Staples, Walmart, and online at Motorola.com.

The WiFi-only Xoom will set you back $600, $200 less than Verizon-branded 3G/4G version that was launched on February 24. The two versions of the Xoom are identical, except for color and data connectivity. The WiFi version comes with either a black or gray back (there have been reports of people getting gray Xooms) and doesn’t include a 3G/4G radio; your only way of getting internet access on it will be via WiFi.
