Wi-Fi HTC Flyer currently receiving Android 3.2. Honeycomb update

Wi-Fi HTC Flyer owners, you might want to check your system for an update. It looks like the Honeycomb update for the popular 7-inch Android tablet is starting to roll out to devices. Users have been reporting that they have been prompted to update their Flyer tablets to Honeycomb. Once update to Android 3.2, the Wi-Fi HTC Flyer will be on par with the HTC EVO View 4G and the European model of the HTC Flyer.

Users are reporting that overall, the update process is going well. The Flyer is smoother, wallpaper lag is no more, and overall, it’s a better experience.

Now that Honeycomb is on these devices, the countdown for Ice Cream Sandwich begins. I’m going to guess sometime in September, if it ever gets updated.
