Vodafone Samsung Galaxy S II Android 4.0 update now available

If you’re a Vodafone user with a Samsung Galaxy S II, there’s some good news for you. The promised update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that was delayed is finally available for you to install on your phone.

Vodafone posted the announcement on their blog late last night. The update is currently available via the Samsung Kies update application. For those of you who prefer to receive the update over the air, you will have to wait until April 17 to get it.

So, if you’re a Galaxy S II owner on Vodafone in the UK, head over to Samsung’s site and download the Kies app to manually update your Galaxy S II to Android 4.0.
