[Video] Take a look at a Galaxy S5 running Android L

The folks at SamMobile were able to get some hands-on time with a Galaxy S5 running Android L. They made a video that is 8 minute long showing an early build of Google’s new version of Android.

SamMobile mentions that most of Samsung’s proprietary apps like the Dialer, Messages and mod other have been built using Google’s Material Design guidelines. The lock screen has also been updated. It now shows notifications along with the date and time. I am going to be honest here. Judging from the video, I actually don’t see anything that stands out. TouchWiz looks pretty much the same on Android L as it looks in Android kitKat – there I said it.

Let’s cut Sammy some slack, the OS version shown is an early look at Android L on the Galaxy S5. I was really hoping that they’ll slim down on bloatware and give us the same Android experience as HTC or LG. Who know how things will turn out…

What do you guys think?
