Carephone Warehouse, a UK-based phone retailer, posted a video comparing the newly released powerhouses: the Nexus 6 and Galaxy Note 4. Both devices fall into the category of ‘phablet.’ They are very similar in terms of components but differ in some other things that may or not be appealing to you.
The video goes over the difference in the displays which I think the Note 4 comes out as a winner. It just looks better outdoors. Both handsets pack 3,220 mAh batteries. The Nexus 6 Turbo Charging give you 6 hours of usage in 15 minutes of charging. The Note 4 has its fast charging feature which lets you charge 50% of it in less than 30 minutes.
What’s really intriguing is picture quality. According to Carphone, the Nexus 6’s camera is a ‘step ahead’ of the Note 4 camera in terms of colors thanks to the dual flash surrounding the lens. If having the latest Android updates is your thing, you should definitely get the Nexus 6. If you get the Note 4, expect carriers to get involved in the updating process which will slow down OTA rollouts. Did anyone say TouchWiz? I’ll leave it at that.
Which one of these two phablets will you be getting?
