U.S. Cellular Galaxy S III to sell for $199.99 & $249.99 after $100 mail-in-rebate

Those of you who are planning on getting the Samsung Galaxy S III on U.S. Cellular will have to pay a little bit extra up front to get your hands on the device. When U.S. Cellular announced that they would also be carrying the Galaxy S III, they never revealed pricing information (or release dates).

While we still don’t have a release date, we now have some pricing information courtesy of U.S. Cellular. The phone will sell for the same price that other carriers will be selling it for: $199 for the 16GB version and $249.99 for the 32GB model. Unlike other carriers’ pricing, U.S. Cellular customers will need to pony up an extra $100 up front because these prices are after a $100 mail-in-rebate. So in reality, you will need $300 and $350 up front when you go and buy your Galaxy S III from U.S. Cellular.

Unfortunately, we still don’t have any official release dates. The phone will launch sometime in July and pre-orders will begin on June 12. To pre-order the Galaxy S III on U.S. Cellular, head over to uscellular.com/gs3
