Take a look at this 4G LTE Samsung slider heading to Verizon

For those of you on Verizon who wish Big Red had more phones with keyboards, your options look like they’re about to increase. Here are some pictures of an unnamed Samsung slider phone with a 5-row QWERTY keyboard. Based on the pics, the phone looks like the Epic 4G on Sprint’s network. Some people think that this phone is going to be the Verizon version of the Galaxy S II, but we don’t think so.

Based on the pics and information provided by the tipster to Android Central, the phone is a 4G phone that runs on Android 2.3.4. In addition, the phone has a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. If it were a variant of the Galaxy S II, it would have an 8-megapixel camera instead of 5. In addition to those specs, the tipster describes the screen as “awesome”, which could mean it has Samsung’s beautiful Super AMOLED Plus display.

I guess we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement to get official specs, name, and release date. For now, lovers of keyboards on phones, know that there is going to be another option for you at Verizon.
