T-Mobile says the Galaxy S4 will launch on May 1st with LTE


During its ‘Uncarrier’ event in New York City, T-Mobile announced that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will launch on May 1st carrying LTE radios. Big Magenta becomes the first U.S. carrier to reveal the availability of the new Samsung flagship device. Word in the street is that the S4 will be go on sale with a $99 down payment meaning that you’ll put that upfront and pay the rest in the form of monthly payments of $20 for 2 years ($580 total)–and that is a part of their new “Simple Choice” plans.

T-Mobile also announced that they’ll carry the HTC one, Blackberry Z and the iPhone in the near future. We’re still waiting to hear from the other US carriers about when they’ll launch the Galaxy S4.
