T-Mobile rolls out HSPA+ to new markets, says LTE coming in 2013

T-Mobile announced today that they expanded their 4G HSPA+ network to new markets including Abilene, Amarillo, Odessa, and Victoria, Tex; Bakersfield, CA; Eau Claire, Wis.; Joplin and St. Joseph, MO. Customers who live in Abilene, Amarillo, Bakersfield, Odessa, Port St. Lucie, and Victoria will also get HSPA+ 42Mbps speeds.

T-Mobile also announced that they will invest $4 billion to enhance their network and roll out LTE. According to CTO, Neville Ray, Big Magenta will be getting new AWS spectrum as a result of the failed merger with AT&T and that will be used to deploy LTE. For more info, head the T-Mobile blog.
