T-Mobile now offers the Samsung Galaxy S II for $300 with a pay-as-you-go monthly 4G plan

T-Mobile is trying to make its Monthly 4G plans a little bit more appealing for some people. Although you can pick up any GSM phone that’s compatible with the network and use it as your phone on the Monthly 4G plan, the selection of phones offered at a reasonable price offered by T-Mobile isn’t high.

That all changes today because T-Mobile has announced that starting today, the Samsung Galaxy S II will be available for just $300 for those looking to hop on one of T-Mobile’s Monthly 4G contract-free plans. The plans start a $35 per month for 100 minutes of talk time and unlimited text and 5GB of data.

You won’t be able to pick up the $300 Galaxy S III anywhere though. The $300 Galaxy S III will only be available when purchased with a Monthly 4G plan at any Walmart location.

While some might say that the Galaxy S II is an old phone, I would counter that by saying that despite it being less than a year old, it’s still a very solid phone and is a great phone if you’re your top concern is not signing a 2-year contract.

So, if you’re looking for a great phone on T-Mobile’s Monthly 4G plan, take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S II today!
