Sprint CEO says Motorola Photon Q coming very soon

During Sprint’s earning call this morning, CEO Dan Hesse gave additional information on the upcoming Motorola Photon Q. The Photon Q has yet to be announced by Sprint. We’ve seen a picture of it in the past and it even cruised through the FCC.

According to Dan Hesse, the Photon Q will be an LTE device that will also serve as a GSM world phone for those who like to travel outside of the United States. Based on previous leaks, the phone will feature a 5-row QWERTY keyboard. Although it has yet to be announced, the phone is coming “very soon”, according to Mr. Hesse.

While we expect it to launch with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, there’s still a possibility that Motorola will make potential customers happy by launching the Photon Q with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

As soon as we receive more info on the Photon Q, we’ll be sure to let you guys know!
