Sprint is definitely showing its commitment to the Android OS by releasing many high and middle end devices. Our friends at PocketNow have been tipped that Sprint is planning to release an new Samsung phone, the Conquer 4G (SPH-D600).
The Samsung Conquer 4G will pack the following:
- Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
- HVGA 320×480 display
- Full-sliding QWERTY keyboard
- 3.1-megapixel rear-facing camera
- VGA front-facing camera
- 4G WiMax support
Although the Samsung Conquer 4G isn’t the EVO 3D or the Photon 4G, it will still appeal to its own niche of mobile customers who are looking for moderately priced phones and do not care much about having killer specs. We might see the Conquer 4G released as early as July 24th with prices ranging between $50 and $100.
