Sony Xperia ZL hits the FCC with AT&T 4G LTE bands, release imminent?

Well Well Well, look what we have here. The Sony Xperia ZL is now going under FCC’s microscope carrying 4G LTE bands. The race between high end Android devices such as the HTC One, Galaxy S4 and the ZL is going to be very tight this year. The documents are showing that the Sony device will support HSPA over 850/1700/1900 MHz frequencies and LTE over 2/4/5/17 bands.

The Xperia ZL is very similar to the Xperia Z in terms of specs. The only difference is that it will not be a waterproof and dust-proof handset. Other than that, it’ll have a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 16GB of internal storage and Android 4.1. Neither Sony or AT&T have made any official announcement as to when they’ll release the ZL.
