Sim-Free HTC EVO 3D available at Amazon UK for a whooping $915

With the European version of the HTC EVO 3D just announced by HTC, many non-Sprint customers in the U.S. have been wondering if they could get the the 3D beast to work within their favorite GSM networks. Are you ready for this? It will cost you a whooping £569.99 or $915 if you want to get your hands on the sim-free HTC EVO 3D. Amazon UK has is currently available for pre-order with an estimated release date of September 12, 2011.

The sim-free version of the HTC EVO 3D will carry the same goodness as the Sprint edition. So you will be getting the 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.3-inch qHD glasses-free 3D screen and may other goodies.

The Sprint version of the EVO 3D, contract-free, is currently selling for $549.99 which is, give or take, 40% cheaper than the European version of this HTC phone. And if you think that $900 for the HTC EVO 3D is too much, you may want to consider the Galaxy S II which is sold byAmazon for $688.
