Samsung to launch the Galaxy S III in Europe on May 29, US in June

Samsung said today that the Galaxy S III will launch in Europe on May 29 while the U.S. will see the handset sometimes in June. Samsung also announced that the Galaxy S III will be available on 296 mobile carriers in 145 countries. We suspect that we’ll see a simultaneous launch here in the U.S. for all our carriers incuding AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile. We have yet to hear anything about pricing but we’re sure we’ll learn about it once we get closer to a release.
