Samsung sues Apple, this time in Korea

We’re really starting to get used to these patent-related lawsuits between Samsung and Apple-but not in a good way. The latest lawsuit comes from Samsung and this it is taking place in its home turf. The Korean manufacturer claims that Apple’s iPhone 4S and iPad 2 are infringing three of its utility patents about user interface, methods of displaying data and short text messages. This new suit is a part of over 30 cases in 10 countries.

Apple has filed a similar lawsuit here in the U.S. also claiming that Samsung has copied the look and design of their products. At this point, we don’t know if the latest report about Apple asking for royalties from Motorola and Samsung in exchange of them using its patents, is going to happen.
