Samsung has just announced that they sold over 10 million Galaxy S II devices worldwide since it was released back in April 2011. Over 3.6 million devices have been sold in Korea, 3.4 million in Europe and 2.3 million in the rest of Asia.
In just five months the Galaxy S II has seen tremendous growth, reflecting strong support from carrier partners
Let’s not forget that the SGS 2 hasn’t been fully released here in the U.S. with the exception of Sprint which released their variant on September 16. AT&T is expected to launch theirs next week and T-Mobile will follow sometimes in October. The original Galaxy S has also sold 1o million units but in seven months. I would feel worried if I was Apple…just saying!
