Samsung says Galaxy S III launch will be announced on Twitter first

Forget about all of the latest rumors about Samsung’s upcoming flagship Android phone, aka the Galaxy S III. Will we see a 4.8-inch HD display, a 1.5GHz Exynos quad-core chip or a ceramic back? Maybe… Unless, Samsung tells us what they’ll use as far as components are concerned, no one knows anything about what the GSIII will sport. A recent rumor claimed that we could see the successor of the Galaxy S II sometimes in April, was quickly denied by the Korean company. They said that they’ll announce it via Twitter first. Samsung also added that they’ll unveil the Galaxy S III sometimes in the first half of 2012:

The successor to the GALAXY S II smartphone will be unveiled in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product. We cannot confirm the detailed information at the moment.
