Samsung has gone ahead and released the Android 4.0 source code for the international Samsung Galaxy S II. The source code, which is currently available for all to download on Samsung’s open source portal, will make it easier for developers to push out custom ROMS for the device. So, for the average Joe, you won’t be able to do much with this code being available. If you’re a developer, you should head out to Samsung’s Open Source Release Center where you will be able to download the source code after searching for the Galaxy S II by its model number.
For the rest of us, we just sit back, relax, and wait for the awesome Android developer community to cook up some nice Android 4.0 ROMS for the Galaxy S II.
