Samsung i727 clears the FCC with AT&T’s 4G LTE bands, Could it be the Galaxy S II LTE?

A Samsung phone going under ID A3LSGHi727 has just cleared the FCC with AT&T’s 4G LTE bands. This phone could very well be one of the many LTE-capable devices that AT&T will be announcing as they are rolling out their LTE network. The SGH-i727 model number is the same one as the Galaxy S II LTE phone that Rogers, the Canadian carrier, will be releasing sometimes at the end of 2011.

We can safely say that the A3LSGHi727 will sport a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3.5, 8MP rear camera and NFC. Along with the 850/1900 WCDMA,HSPA and 700MHz LTE AT&T bands, we also found T-Mobile’s LTE AWS bands which may mean that Big Blue is really hoping that the merger goes through. We included a couple of pictures in the gallery (courtesy of MobileSyrup) of the Canadian version of this Samsung i727 so you can see the resemblance.
