Samsung Galaxy Gear Live, LG G Watch with Android Wear will be available “later today”


If you have holding off on buying a smart watch, Google unveiled Android Wear along with the LG G Watch and the Samsung Galaxy Gear Live. We also caught a glimpse at the Moto 360 at the Google I/O stage. Both the LG and Samsung smartwatches will be available for purchase at the Play Store later on today. The Moto 360 will release by the end of this year.

The Galaxy Gear Live is rumored to sport the same features as the Gear 2. So we’ll be looking at 1.63-inch display with a 320 x 320 resolution, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 2MP camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 300 mAh battery. The watch only weighs 59 grams, comes with IP67 certification and measures 37.9 x 56.4 x 8.9 mm.


On the other hand, the LG G Watch is rumored to come with a 1.65-inch LCD display with a 280 x 280 resolution, quad 4GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 4.0 and of course Android Wear. It weighs 61 grams and measures 37.9 x 46.5 x 9.95 mm.
