The Galaxy Beam was announced less than a month ago without Samsung saying when it will be available in the U.S.. It looks like we won’t be waiting for too long because the Beam has just cruised through the FCC sporting AT&T’s 1900MHz and 850MHz bands. What differentiate this phone from others is that it has a built-in 15 lumens HD projector which is capable of projecting photos, videos and other media on any kind of flat surface. It will also feature a 4-inch display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, 8GB of internal storage and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. AT&T hasn’t announced yet if they’ll offer the Galaxy Beam but the fact it just cleared the FCC increases the chances of them selling it.
