Samsung estimated Q2 profits to reach $5.9 billion

With July 27 set as the date when Samsung will announce their quarterly financial reports, they decided to give us a glimpse at what we should all expect.

The South Korean company estimates that their operating profit for the second quarter of 2012 will range between 6.5 trillion won and 6.9 trillion won–$5.7 billion and $6.1 billion. They added that their revenue is estimated between 46 trillion won and 48 million won or $40 billion and $41 billion, a 19% increase from Q1 2012.

With the Galaxy S III launching in North America, we won’t be surprised if the estimated numbers above go up. Nho Geun-chang, an analyst from Seoul, South Korea, estimates that the total shipments of the flagship device will hit the 19 million mark this quarter.

Keep in mind that Samsung is currently trying to keep up with high demand for the Galaxy S III. They’re also battling Apple and trying to bring back a couple of banned devices to all of us to enjoy. For more info, hit the source link below.
