Rumor: AT&T launching the HTC One X within a week

Those of you who have been waiting for the HTC One X to land in the U.S. might not have to wait much longer, if the information provided by BGR is correct. According to one of their trusted sources, the HTC One X on AT&T will be available as early as this week. In addition, the source says that AT&T could announce the phone availability details tomorrow, and that the phone’s release should follow within 5-7 days.

If this is true, this will be some great news. The phone has been available in Europe for over a week now and it’s a success. Since the AT&T version of the phone will be an LTE device, it is powered by Qualcomm’s SnapDragon S4 processor, which is a dual-core processor. The international version of the phone is powered by NVIDIA’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor. Although the AT&T model will feature a dual-core processor, don’t let it fool you; it’s still a powerful phone.

We’ll keep our eyes open for any HTC One X announcements tomorrow.
