Quad-core Toshiba Excite 10 now available from $450

Starting today, consumers wanting a quad-core tablet will have a new choice in Toshiba’s new Excite 10 line of tablets. Today, Toshiba launched 3 versions of their super-slim quad-core tablet, the Excite 10. The Excite 10 comes with 3 different storage options: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. All 3 models feature the following specs:

  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 1.2GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 16/32/64GB of internal storage
  • 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution
  • 10 hours of battery life
  • 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and full 1080P video
  • 2-megapixel rear-facing camera
  • WiFi
  • and much more

In addition to the great specs mentioned above, the Excite 10 also features a plethora of ports. Packed into its tiny frame are Micro HDMI and Micro USB ports, 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, dock connector, and a full-sized SD card slot.

With 3 models available, the price increases with more storage. The 16GB model is currently available for $450, 32GB for $530, and the whopping 64GB model for $650.

At the moment, only the 16GB and 32GB models are available to purchase. Those of you wishing for the 64GB model will have to wait a little bit longer because it’s only available for pre-order.
