PSA: HTC One Google Play Edition receiving Android 4.3 OTA update, Galaxy S4 GPE too

Folks over the XDA Forums are reporting getting the awaited Android 4.3 update for their HTC One Google Play Edition devices. It is being pushed over-the-air as I am writing this article. I don’t have an HTC One to verify this but according to the posts over at XDA, the build changed to version JWR66V.H10. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, you can always force it manually by going to your settings menu.

If that doesn’t work, you can clear the Google Services Framework cache, reboot and check for the update again. We do not have the changelog yet but it looks like the IR LED issue that some HTC One phones had is now gone–the icons look slightly bigger than before.

Update: @nerdtalker aka Brian Klug reports that his Galaxy S4 GPE is also getting the Android 4.3 OTA update.
