Sprint has released an OTA update for the EVO 4G LTE that resolves the Google Wallet issue. This OTA update comes just a day after Google announced that would provide a fix sometime this month.

Along with the Google Wallet fix, the OTA update includes security updates and also fixes the following issues with the Evo 4G LTE:

  • Wifi disconnect issue
  • Time zone issue
  • Side loaded video pause issue
  • Random power cycling issue
  • Pioneer Bluetooth Car Kit connection issue
  • Gallery app crash
  • Calendar reminder (all day even time) issue

To update your phone, Go to settings > System updates > HTC software updates > check now

So, if you’ve been missing the ability to pay without actually pulling out your wallet, update your HTC Evo 4G LTE and grab this OTA update now!
