Official Formula 1 Racing app now available for Android

The 2011 Formula 1 racing season is going to be an exciting one for F1 Android users. Today, Formula 1, in association with Vodaone, released their 2011 2011 app.

The app will allow you to view session results, season calendar, timetables for every Grand Prix, and current championship standings. In addition, live data will also be streamed back to your device.

Data from every session of the 2011 F1 season will be streamed back to your Android device in real time. This means that you will be able to track every progress of your favorite team and driver, from their position on the track to lap times, sector times, and lap count. In addition, you will also be notified of track status and straight-line speeds.

The application will also provide realtime weather data. Information such as track and air temperature, rainfall, air pressure, humidity levels, wind speed and direction will be available and updated in real time.

Since this is the first version of the F1 app, there are still some features missing, such as push notifications. This super nice feature is being worked on by Formula 1 and Vodafone, and hopefully, we will see it by the end of the season.

You can get the 2011 app from the Android Market. In order to properly use the app, you will need to register for an account a
