Nexus 7 tablet heading to Italy in early September

Italians will have to wait until September to get their hands on the quad-core Nexus 7 tablet by Google and Asus. In its Facebook Italy page, Asus announced that the highly-anticipated tablet will be available to all Italians at some point in early September. The Nexus 7 tablet will sell for 249€ for the 16GB model (VAT included).

The biggest question that people in countries outside of the US want to know is if Google Play media services will be available to them in their country. When Google announced the Nexus 7 tablet, they said that the tablet would play well with the plethora of Movies, TV Shows, Magazines, Books, and apps available in the Play Store. While Google is slowly rolling out its Play Store services to other countries, there’s no telling if things will be available once the tablet launches in other countries.

In the meantime, Italians, hang in there. The Nexus 7 is coming in September.
