For the past couple of months, rumors about the upcoming Nexus 6 (Shamu) have been all over the net. First, there was the guys at 9t5Google made a mockup of the phone. And now the folks at Android Police made one of their own according to one of their sources’ directions.

Along with the revamped Google apps icons (thanks to Android L), the Nexus 6 will probably have the same backing as the new Moto X. It will be compatible with Motorola’s Turbo Charger which is advertised to charge the Moto X in less than 15 minutes to give it 8 hours of use. In addition, the handset will sport a 5.9-inch QHD display (494 ppi), 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, 2MP front camera and a 3,200 mAh batter – the Snapdragon 805 CPU is rumored to be in the N6 as well.

Google is going to launch a phablet and that will not appeal to everyone. I personally welcome the 5.9-inch display but I know many of you prefer the smaller displays. Disqus user ‘oot’ made up a mockup to give us an idea about how the Nexus 6 compares in size to other devices like the Nexus 5, Note 4 and iPhone 6 Plus. Who knows what Google has up its sleeves – We may see 2 different phone sizes after all . We’ll find out very soon.
