Motorola Droid 4 receives 6.13.219 update, brings better battery life and more

The 6.13.219 update for the Motorola Droid 4 we talked about last week is now pushing out. It features a better battery life, touchscreen lockups bug fix, new MotoCast widget, improved test message delivery and enhancements to Wi-Fi connectivity. Here is the full changelog:

Device features

  • Enhanced loud call end and connect tones over Bluetooth
  • Power On function has been fixed
  • Improved battery life
  • Improvements made to reduce touch screen lockups, device sluggishness, and blank screen lockups
  • Keypad backlight only launches when needed

Applications and Widgets

  • Successfully receive Visual Voice Mail notifications
  • MotoCast widget can be added to the homescreen and thumbnail view
  • Improved text message delivery when using the Messaging application

Network Connectivity

  • Improvements to WiFi connectivity
  • Reply With Quote
