Motorola Droid 4 OTA update on the way. Is it Ice Cream Sandwich?

If you’re a Motorola Droid 4 owner, there might be some good news for you in the form of an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Reports are coming in that Motorola is currently sending out requests to Droid 4 owners on the Motorola Feedback Network to participate in the testing of a new software release. Although the notice doesn’t say anything about the update being ICS, there’s still a chance that 4.0 will soon be available to the Droid 4. On the other hand, this could also be a minor bug-fixing update.

The last time the Droid 4 was updated was back in April. Whatever this soak test contains, you can be sure that it will be available to the general public in the coming weeks. Lets just cross our fingers and hope that this one is ICS.
