Deal: Motorola Droid 4 for $99 at Amazon Wireless

The day that many have been waiting for is finally here: the Motorola Droid 4 is now available for everyone. While Verizon has the phone for $199, you can get a better deal elsewhere.

As usual, Amazon Wireless has the phone available for a much lower price. If you head over to Amazon Wireless, you can get the Droid 4 for only $99 when you sign up for a new account. If you’re renewing, the price jumps to $149. Whether you’re signing up for a new account or renewing, Amazon’s pricing is definitely better than Verizon’s $199.

When you buy from Amazon, you get great customer service, fast 2-day shipping, and they offer a 30-day return policy on the phone (compared to Verizon’s 14-day policy). I bought my Galaxy Nexus from Amazon Wireless and I’ve been happy ever since.

The Droid 4 features a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, access to Verizon’s fast 4G LTE network, a fast 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, front and rear cameras that are capable of shooting videos at 720P and 1080P HD, and more. The phone is launching with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and will be receiving an upgrade to Android 4.0 Gingerbread in the near future.

So, if you’re all about saving some money, head over to Amazon Wireless and buy the Droid 4 for only $99 when you sign up for a new contract. Hurry, because this deal won’t last long!
