More signs of a Google Music store emerge

If you need more proof that Google is getting ready to make music purchases a reality in the Android Market, then take a look at the above screen shot. This is what appeared on users phones when they visited music.google.com from their phones. As you clearly see, option two is all about buying music directly from the Android Market, which is a feature that many people have been waiting for.

Rumors of a Google Music store started circulating 2 weeks ago when the New York Times first posted the story. Since then, Google’s Andy Rubin has confirmed that the music store is in the works, and that when it launches, there will be a little “twist“. The twist that he’s referring to could be the ability to share songs with friends.
