LG Viper 4G could launch on April 22, according to internal memo

One of Sprint’s upcoming 4G LTE phones, the LG Viper 4G , could be in consumer’s hands as soon as April 22. The guys over at Engadget obtained a screenshot of an internal memo that states that the phone would launch on the above date for $100. The memo also states that the phone would be available in all sales channels including sprint.com, Best Buy, RadioShack, and more.

Preorders for the phone are set to begin tomorrow, April 12.

We got a chance to play with the LG Viper 4G back at CES 2012 in January. It is the first 4G LTE device with eco-friendly features such as its ULE Platinum certification and casing made out of 50% recycled plastic. Specs-wise, the Viper 4G features a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 1GB of RAM, front and rear-facing cameras, and more.
