LG announces European markets that will be getting the Optimus 4X HD

If you’re in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain, or Italy; you will be one of the first European countries to get your hands on the LG Optimus 4X HD, LG’s first quad-core Tegra 3 handset. LG made the announcement today stating that the phone will be launching in the above European markets first, with a total of 11 planned European markets. The Optimus 4X HD features a 4.7-inch 720P IPS display, a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with LG’s new Optimus UI 3.0, a 2150mAh battery, and more.

According to the press release, a major surprise is also in tow for the European launch of the Optimus 4X HD, but details weren’t made available. Although no launch date was announced, LG has promised that the phone would be available in Europe sometime in June.

So, if you’re in Italy, Great Britain, Sweden, the Netherlands, or Germany, get ready for quad-core action from LG’s Optimus 4X HD.
