Another day, another Android tablet. Yesterday, Lenovo unveiled the IdeaPad S2109 tablet via its Youtube channel. The IdeaPad S2109 features a thin 8.9mm unibody shell, a 9.7-inch 1024 x 768 IPS display that offers wider viewing angles, micro HDMI out port, microSD slot, quad speakers, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
The tablet, which currently doesn’t have an estimated arrival date, will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. Lenovo says that you should be able to get 10 hours of battery life on the upcoming S2109 tablet. Surprisingly, they didn’t include a rear-facing camera, which I think is good way to save some money. Besides, how many times have you taken a picture with your massive tablet?
Since this tablet has similar specs to the IdeaPad S2, you can expect it to sell for somewhere around $350 when it is finally available for mass consumption!
