The Moto G is definitely not a beast of an phone and it certainly does not appeal to the high-end Android phones fanatics. However, its price point makes it a very attractive piece of hardware for folks who are on a budget or simply want a decent backup device.
On September 4, Motorola is set to announce a bunch of new devices including a new Moto G. Until now, we have not seen the phone or know anything about it. But thanks to the folks at HelloMotoHK. we are getting a first look at the what could be the Moto G2, codenamed XT1069.
One of the most noticeable changes within the new Moto G is the increase of the screen size from 4.5 inches to 5 inches – still 720p. It will also have front speakers, an 8MP rear camera, microSD support, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and Android KitKat.
In week from today, we’ll learn more about Motorola’s plans, and about this Moto G2 which definitely looks impressive. We have not heard about pricing yet but we suspect it will be in the $200-$250 range. Will you be buying one?
