Motorola started sending invitations to an event that is going to take place in Mew York on August 1. They will finally be making the Motorola X handset official. Prior to that, leaks showing different aspects of the device have been floating around the web, giving all of us an idea of what to expect to see.
So far, the Moto X will sport a 4.5-inch 720p display, dual-core Qualcomm S4 Pro MSM8960DT processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a possible 1500 mAh battery (hopefully bigger), Android 4.2.2 and NFC. A recent leak showed that the handset was running on Android 4.2.2 but that’ll probably change.
Price will be a major factor in the success of the Moto X. We sure hope that it will be be under the $300 range especially when knowing that it will be a mid-range Android phone. But again, I’d say that everything is still up in the air until Google makes this thing official. Is anyone considering this phone as their daily driver?
