The HTC Evo 4G LTE, the Sprint variant of the popular HTC One X, could be available to consumers on May 18. When the phone was announced, the only information we were given was that pre-orders for the device would begin on May 7. Today, Good and Evo, a blog dedicated to the EVO line of phones, has obtained a launch date for the upcoming Evo 4G LTE.
According to a reliable source, the HTC Evo 4G LTE will be launching on May 18 on Sprint’s network. Marketing materials for the device should begin hitting Sprint stores by May 14.
The HTC Evo 4G LTE features a 4.7-inch HD Super LCD display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.0, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, NFC support, 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, LTE connectivity, Beats Audio, and much more.
Pre-orders for the device starts on May 7 at $199.99 with a new 2-year contract.
