It looks like the 4G version of the Motorola Xoom, the Motorola Xoom LTE, could land on Verizon’s network on September 8 for $499 with a 2-year contract, at the same time that the Motorola Droid Bionic is expected to launch. This information is revealed in the latest Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) that was leaked to the website Droid-Life. If this is indeed true, a lot of early adopters of the original Motorola Xoom aren’t going to be too happy. Many bought the device with the intention of it being upgraded to a 4G device a few months. Many months later, Verizon now has the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G, and soon, Motorola will be releasing the Xoom LTE, all while the early adopters eagerly wait for this vanguard Honeycomb tablets to get upgraded.
