Is LG’s upcoming Optimus Vu too big? Check out these pics

Take a look at these pictures of LG’s upcoming 5-inch phone, the Optimus Vu. The device features a 5-inch display, but with a 4:3 aspect ratio, which makes it look pretty humongous. Last week, a picture of both the Galaxy Note and the Optimus Vu posing together surfaced. While both devices both feature screens that are larger than 5-inches, despite the Optimus Vu’s smaller 5-inch display, the phone looks like a monster compared to the Galaxy Note, which features a 5.3-inch display, but with a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Today, two more pictures of the Optimus Vu surfaced thanks to Ken Hong, a PR rep for LG in South Korea. Ken posted two pictures of the Optimus Vu, showing the world what the device could look like in your hands. As you can see from the two pictures, the Optimus Vu is huge. While it might be great for experience media, it’s going to be interesting to see people holding the Vu up to their ears and using it as a phone.

We’re expecting to see more pictures and videos of the device once Mobile World Congress starts next week. So, what do you guys think about the Optimus Vu so far? Is it too big? Is it not big enough? Do you plan on getting one? Let us know by dropping a comment below.
