Instagram gets updated to version 4.1, brings video import and Android 4.0 video recording support

Earlier today, Instagram announced that it is in the process of rolling out an update version 4.1 to its Android application. This is the first one since the release of Instagram video back in July.

With Instagram 4.1, you can now import videos directly from your phone’s gallery. Basically, you won’t have to rely on video capture to share your videos. In addition, an “auto-straightening” feature has also been added to the app which job is to fix  your not so-perfect videos. Finally, Instagram video is now compatible with devices running Ice cream Sandwich aka Android 4.0 (wait does it still exist?).

The update is now available in the Play Store but not for everyone. Mine keeps saying “package file is invalid.” Hit the link below to try to grab it.
