Huawei promises a high-performing smartphone in February

Huawei, the company you’ve come to know for their low to mid-range smartphones say that they have something big coming in February 2012. According to Android Central, Huawei got in touch with them and they’re promising their “smartest, fastest, most high-performing smartphone yet, taking a leap into the future of mobile communications.” According to Android Central, Huawei’s announcement will be taking place on the eve of Mobile World Congress 2012, which is taking place in Barcelona, Spain.

Although we don’t know what Huawei has in planned for us, we can at least assume that they will be announcing some sort of phone with a dual-core processor, HD display, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Recently, Huawei announced the Honor, a mid-class phone with a 1.4GHz processor, dual cameras, 1900mAh battery, 4-inch HD display, and more.

Mobile World Congress is only 2 months away. I guess we’ll be finding out what Huawei have in store for us then. As soon as we get more information, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
