Huawei M660 with QWERTY keyboard and candybar form factor smiles for the camera

The guys over at Phone Arena have obtained images of the Huawei M660, a phone with a physical portrait keyboard on a candybar form factor. The phone was originally destined for MetroPCS, but according to Phone Arena, the phone is now heading to Cricket Wireless.

Specs-wise, the M660 features a 3.2-inch display, a camera, microSD card slot, and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. By the looks of things, it doesn’t look like this phone will be killer device specs-wise. Nevertheless, it will offer users a choice, especially those who are interesting in devices that resemble Blackberry phones.

Although the phone’s model number M660, it’s possible that when launched on Cricket Wireless, it will be known as the Huawei Ascend Q. If you’re a Cricket Wireless subscriber, let us know if you’re planning on getting this device when it launches.
