Huawei announces the MediaPad 7 Lite with Android 4.0 ICS

The MediaPad 10 FHD won’t be the only table that Huawei will offer its users. Today, they also revealed a smaller tablet, the MediaPad 7 Lite. Not much is known about specs (such as CPU, storage, etc.), but as the name suggest, the MediaPad 7 Lite is a 7-inch tablet with a 1280 X 800 resolution display.

According to Huawei, the MediaPad 7 Lite runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features the following:

  • 3G cellular voice
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
  • Front and rear-facing cameras
  • Metal unibody design
  • 7-inch IPS display

At the moment, that’s all that we have on the MediaPad 7 Lite. Pricing and availability hasn’t been announced. With Google’s $199 Nexus 7 tablet, we wouldn’t be surprised if Huawei priced this one at around the same price as the Nexus 7.

We’ll be bringing you more information when it becomes available. Until then, enjoy the gallery below.
