HTC issues statement about HTC One availability; will launch next week in UK, Germany and Taiwan, by end of April in North America

HTC issued a statement about the availability of the HTC One here in the U.S. and everywhere else around the globe. So folks in the UK, Germany and Taiwan will have first dibs at the handset starting next week. While North America and most Asia-Pacific countries will see it ‘before the end of April.’

We’re pretty sure this isn’t what wanted to hear. HTC is asking you to be patient and says that you will not be disappointed once you ‘get your hands on the HTC One.” Here is the full statement:

HTC has seen unprecedented demand for and interest in the new HTC One, and the care taken to design and build it is evidenced in early reviews. The new HTC One will roll out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April. We appreciate our customers’ patience, and believe that once they have the phone in their hands they will agree that it has been worth the wait.
