HTC announces the HTC One X Deluxe Limited Edition for the Taiwanese market

HTC made their newest flagship phone, the HTC One X, official earlier this month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Now, less than 2 weeks after announcing the HTC X (and One S, One V), HTC has gone ahead and announced a limited edition model of the One X, the HTC One X Deluxe Limited Edition.

The new HTC One X Deluxe Limited Edition will be available in Taiwan, HTC’s home country. The One X Deluxe LE will come in exclusive packaging that contains a pair of Solo Beats by Dress headphones, which are valued at a whopping $180, according to the Beats Website.

According to Taiwanese retailer ePrice, pre-orders for the HTC One X Deluxe Limited Edition will start on March 20. The phone will sell for 24,900 Taiwan dollars, which is roughly $842USD. In terms of this limited edition One X landing outside of Taiwan, it’s a possibility, but nothing has been announced by HTC.

Specs-wise, the HTC One X Deluxe Limited Edition will feature the same specs as the original One X. It will be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, have a 4.7-inch Super IPS HD display, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC’s Sense 4.0 UI, and much more.

The HTC One X will be launching across Europe, Asia, and North America. Unfortunately, the U.S. model launching on AT&T’s network won’t feature a quad-core Tegra 3 processor. Instead, it will be powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor.
