The project to put Android on the HP Touchpad is picking up. Just a few days after the Cyanogenmod team were able to successfully boot CM7, the team who originally started the project to port Android to the TouchPad, Team TouchDroid, have also been able to boot Android on the TouchPad. Although both teams have been able to boot Android, the TouchDroid team was able set up the touchpad to dual-boot, which is good for those of you who still want to enjoy what WebOS has to offer. Check out the video below.
Unfortunately, both teams are still working on getting the touchscreen working. It’s good to see that progress is being made on this effort. Like always, just sit back and relax. Enjoy WebOS for now. Soon, you’ll be able to enjoy Android on it. Soon, my friends, soon.
